Life's Song

So often in life we find ourselves in the most
confusing situations
we know the right answers, yet find it much easier to
do the wrong
somehow we prefer to trod the dangerous route,
moving along with the melody of life's cruel song

So often in life we find ourselves trapped between
good and bad, between love and hate
but along the way we hear that voice telling us to
keep the faith
somehow we want to do what's right, but we are
programmed to do what's wrong
as usual, moving along to the rythm of life's
mysterious song

So often in life we find ourselves faced with
decisions
but we're too weak, too afraid, and far too insecure
to know what to do
but along the way we feel the presence of a divine
being encouraging us to do that which is moral
somehow that's what we'd like to do, but it's exactly
what we fail to do
because ofcourse we have to keep on dancing to the
beet of life's adventurous song.
