who read it. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - EZEKIEL 2 1 And He said to me, "Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak to you." 2 Then the Spirit entered me when He spoke to me, and set me on my feet; and I heard Him who spoke to me. 3 And He said to me; "Son of man, I am sending you to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against Me; they and their fathers have transgressed against Me to this very day. 4 "For they are impudent and stubborn children. I am sending you to them, and you shall say to them 'Thus says the Lord God.' 5 As for them, whether they hear or whether they refuse - for they are a rebellious house - yet they will know that a prophet has been among them. 6 "And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them nor be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you and you dwell among scorpions; do not be afraid of their words or dismayed by their looks, though they are a rebellious house. 7 "You shall speak My words to them, whether they hear or whether they refuse, for they are rebellious. 8 "But you, son of man, hear what I say to you. | The world is
experiencing "end time", and "signs of the time". God is looking for a
man ('man' referring to both
genders) to go on his knees in
prayer and fasting. God needs a man with a vision, one who knows what is is to 'stand in
the gap' - a man that is courageous and who will speak out against unrighteousness, false
doctrine, and hypocrisy. An intercessor is needed:- Someone who will be available Someone who will be committed Someone who will be dedicated Someone who will pray and fast and seek God's face. A Moses is needed to preach and teach people, and lead them out of 'Egypt' (sin). The world is in need of good leadership, better organisation, preaching the undiluted word of God, better peace and harmony in churches. There is an urgent need for better, and more fervent worship to God, so as to break down the strongholds of satan, principalities and powers of darkness. Each and every Christian has to rise to the challenge to be a witness for Christ, and an alert watchman. Sometimes, we are too mindful of our own business and find no time for others - not even to pray for them. We have to put on the whole armour of salvation to fight spiritual warfare in the name of Jesus, who strengthens us. Satan has God's people in captivity. It is for us to claim their deliverance in Jesus' name. We have to be committed and be strong, faithful in Christ, denying all and witness for Jesus. Spread the good news of Jesus and His love, His death and resurrection. Have you got a calling on your life today? Are you willing to stand in the gap? Everyone out of God and Christ is our responsibility; let us commit ourselves to the call. The call is urgent. It is for you, it is for me. What will your answer be? Will it be 'Yes Lord, I'll be that Man."? |
